On 25th May 2009, ELCPNG Evangelism Secretary Reverand Binora and Mr. Yakue Mazi visited the long time Raipingka Trumpet School at Kainantu District. The two officials from ELCPNG headquarter met with the two teachers of the Raipingka Trumpet School, the Raipingka Circuit President, a Church Council representative of the Kainantu District and the head teacher of the ELCPNG Kambaidam Evangelist Training School.

This meeting discussed issues regarding both schools, the Trumpet School and the Evangelist Training School. Rev Binora reported that currently the trumpet school is not operating as it was some time ago.

There was a misunderstanding between three parties in running the school. There is the Lutheran Overseas Partnership Churches (LOPC) who owns the missionary houses in the school campus; there is the Raipingka Circuit Office which is inside the school campus and the school facilities is looked after by two national teachers. Rev. Binora confirmed that they have discussed to an understanding between the parties and he expects the trumpet school to commence operation as soon as possible. There were other things discussed includes a look into the curriculum of the school and a possibility to further develop it into a music school where other instruments would be introduced and taught.

The issue of the Kambaidam Evangelsit training school is the misunderstanding of the Lutheran Renewals and the ELCPNG evangelists who are both taking training at the same institution. Rev. Binora again assured that the Head teachers of the Evangelist Training School reported many positive things about the situation and he is blessed that finally the issue has found some solutions.
